Final Equipment Sale

Well, my homebrewing hobby has come to an end here in Canada. I'm selling off the rest of my gear, so hopefully you'll find a bargain here. I'm offering the items here before taking to the rest of the interwebs, as I'd love to give back to the group that gave me so much when I got started, and all the way through to now.

I'm pricing aggressively for a quick sale, so I wont go any lower on individual items, but will most definitely reward multiple item sales with discounts and you'll get a root through the bargain box when you come to pick up. (fittings, airlocks, cleaners, buckets, etc, etc.). All of my ingredients and Corny kegs are already sold.

If you want pictures, and I'm sure you will, please PM me with the item you want info on, and your cell/email and I'll shower you with images.

In no particular order:

- Arctic King homemade keezer(Walmart, 14 months old, clean but dormant for the last 3 months) Capacity is 2 full (19L) and one half corny kegs. Comes with a full 10lb Noble Grape CO2 bottle, 3 chrome plated taps and ball-lock beer lines, 4 ball-lock CO2 lines and manifold, 3 SS drip-trays mounted on the front, and an STC1000 based temperature controller. This thing is ready for your kegs. ***SOLD***

- 4 year old, lightly used Danby mini fridge in SS/black. Fridge has had door furniture, shelves removed and freezer section moved down for use as a 2-corny kegerator or 1-bucket/carboy fermentation chamber (vessels not included). Top drilled and comes with temperature controller and a single tap chrome tower, no keg fittings. ***SOLD***

- RoboBrew V3 with SS coil, all hoses plus extras, everything included as per Everwood Ave sales spec. This has been used for 8 brews, bought for $650 but since new prices have dropped significantly, you have a bargain at ***SOLD***

- 120v chugger pump with SS camlock fittings. In-line configured. $100.

- 2 Angram CQ cask ale beer engines. One in full working order inc. spout and drip-tray and the other for spares/repair. $300 for the pair. (these are $425 each brand new)

- Magnetic stir plate with 2L Erlenmeyer flask and stir magnets. $50 ***SOLD***

- 3x 23L glass carboys with neck handles. $25 each

- Single-lever bottle capper. $25 ***SOLD***

- Twin-lever wine corker. $20

- 64qt Coleman cooler modified with a ball valve, copper manifold and copper fly-sparge arm. The cooler-mash tun that brewed "Tropic Thunder" for the Boxing Rock Black Box Challenge. Or you could just use it for camping. $35

- 12x650ml bomber bottles, clean, de-labelled, empty. $10

- Wort oxygenator stone, line, regulator and partial canister of O2. $30 ***SOLD***

- Brewing books, $10 each. $75 for all.

How old are the beer engines? Can you post a photo? And do you know what is wrong with the "repair" one?

The unit with the curved handle is the spares/repair. The wood is dry, the handle ceramic is cracked and the inner pump cylinder was broken. There’s no insulation on the cylinder. There’s no back plate or swan neck. No drip tray loop or tray. The brass is *dull but will polish. It’s actually a fire damaged unit I bought from the Spitfire pub in Windsor. I used some good parts from this to bring the other unit up to 100% complete. I enquired about parts to get both up and running and it came to about the same amount as a new pump. If you have another donor, that would be the way to get 2 working. Otherwise, you could keep one for spares.

The straight handle unit is whole and is in excellent working condition. I have no idea how old either unit is, but I’d say both are more than 10 years, with minimal use. Mechanisms are tight.

$10, but if you wanted to grab some other stuff, I can do a discount.

It's $15 on Amazon without shipping, and it's in great condition.

***Correction; it's $15 USD on Amazon.com. It's $23 CAD on Amazon.ca

Let me know!

Will the minifridge fit two pin locks? They're a little shorter and wider than balls. If yes I'll take it.

If not then I'll probably take the keezer

I don’t have any pin-locks to test with, but I can get you a measurement. It might be tight. I’ll get you a measurement for the Danby kegerator too.

I’ll take the mini fridge if Kevin doesn’t take it.

The Danby mini-fridge has an area in front of the compressor bulge that measures 18" wide by 11" deep. From what I read, pin-lock kegs are 9" in diameter, so that would make it a very tight fit.

The keezer floor area next to the compressor bulge is 15.5" x 14.5". I tried fitting 2x 9" round items in there, but they overlap by 1/2 and inch. I'm going to say the keezer is probably not going to work for you.

If you wanted to bring a couple of kegs up to try before you commit, you're more than welcome to.

Let me know what you think.

Wondering if the Danby fermentation chamber is still available, if so can you send me some pics and info on proper usage? (Pretty new brewer but interested in it for lagering). I'll PM my e-mail.

Thanks!
