Free FestaBrew kits
I have been out of brewing for a few years (even the lazy mans way with kits) and have three Festa Beer kits sitting in my garage. The have been stored here for well over two years. Have stayed cool and bags of wort are not expanding so I assume they are still useable with some new yeast. If the general consensus is they’re still safe to make, I will offer them up free to the Brewnoser who picks the number between 1-100 closest to that I have selected. Maybe I can get a couple of growlers in exchange to see what I missed out for being so lazy!
Kits are ESB, Cerveza, and West coast IPA
,
Hope everyone is doing well.
Cheers

Re: Free FestaBrew kits
Great to see a few guesses. Would like to see some comments to confirm they would still be fine to make so I am not putting the winning guesser at risk! Is the consensus they are still good? If yes, will close the guesses at midnight tonight.

I’m sure they will be fine to brew- certainly worth a try. I’d be interested in the IPA.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Free FestaBrew kits
Bert Is the winner being the closest to my pick of 16. Bert do you want all three or just the IPA you mentioned in your post? Liverdance And Tim were the next two closest.

Howdy Earl, that’s great! I was feeling lucky, haha.
I’m totally fine with just the IPA and Brian and Tim can have the others.
Thanks!

Re: Free FestaBrew kits
Honestly Brian doesn't need the kit so Bert can take it, I just like to play games

Re: Free FestaBrew kits
Awesome,
I don’t have a problem fermenting 2 or 3 festa brews.
If Tim wants one he can have his choice of the ESB or the cerveza.
Cheers,
Bert

I know I didn’t win but would take whatever is left (if there is). My boss wants to try brewing something!
