SOLD - Miscellaneous Electrical Components

Post by LeafMan66_67 » Sat Nov 02, 2024 12:35 pm

Before buying a Robobrew a while back, I has started collecting the components for an electric boil kettle and controller. I've got no need for them now, so I'm giving them away. Most of the stuff was picked up cheap on eBay or other sources. Everything is new and unused. The lot includes a 5500W stainless element complete with external connector kit, PID controller, ammeter, 40A SSR, controller and a couple of random thermocouples.

Looking to hand them over to someone who may use them.

Pickup in Lower Sackville.

I'm about to finally have access to 240v for brewing. I'm looking at building something right now with similar parts.

They're yours if you want them.

As a heads up, keep an eye on that Fotek SSR if you are pumping a lot of amps through it. A quick google will reveal them melting on people, and it happened to me as well. This was a few years ago, so perhaps things have improved.
