Financial advisor

I have received a retirement offer and am crunching some numbers? Anyone out there a Financial Advisor that can give me advice. $200 is supplied by the company and I will pay for above that.

$200 doesn't sound like a great retirement offer. I say pass.

Hey Sandy, I'm in a related line of work (pension business) and I'll just say that you should be careful who you take advice from about this. I've dealt with some "Financial Advisors" who will say just about anything to get you to transfer your retirement dollars into a savings vehicle that they can sell to you. Shady characters out there.

Darci you are correct. I am looking at many pieces of information and want to make sure I don't "miss" something.

I'm meeting with 2 friends who retired today to get the scoop on the process.
