Brewnosers Advent 2015 Spreadsheet Google Drive

Post by Keith » Fri Dec 05, 2014 7:28 pm

Hey,
Anyone overly familiar with Google drive and able to setup permissions so a spreadsheet isn't fully open?
I'm wanting to get started on a SS for The Brewnosers 2015 beer exchange, and am going to move it back to the hard 24 days, with 2 lists due to interest (Can only sign up for 1 list).
I'd like to get everything together and post the sign up sheet on Jan 2nd after hangovers are gone and the chaos from the first dies down. :cheers2:

Not quite sure what you're needing: only allow certain people to view and/or edit the sheet?
You can do that with the permissions. Can share the link widely, but you can grant access specifically by email address.

Create the sheet, then click the Share button in upper right. And then choose to only grant access to specific people.

Or you can just create the sheet, and give out the URL, but only allow people to view it, so no one but you can edit. (You can also add additional editors on a case by case basis).

yea I figured that out, was just having issues with importing an excel file. I just been adding it in through drive. Looks fairly simple not that I'm not sitting on 77lbs of hops. was a rushed day.
