I just got off the phone with NavNet to have their service installed in July. I was expecting $42.70/mo but they told me it's going to be $50/mo + tax, $45 installation and $20 security deposit on the modem, starting in July. She also told me that it will not only be for new, but existing customers will see the price increase too. Still not a bad deal!

I think the installation and security deposit were always charged (though not sure of the amount they charged for them), but as you mentioned, the monthly price is going up.MikeD wrote:I just got off the phone with NavNet to have their service installed in July. Price increase is not a huge deal to me. Still a good price

Yup. Still a good deal. I paid an install fee but don't remember what it was. Unless they've changed it the $20 monthly fee is for a wifi modem/router from them, I suggest buying your own wifi router instead.
