Looking for someone to build my website

Post by Keggermeister » Thu Jul 26, 2012 4:00 pm

I am clueless with coding, and need a website built. I thought I would put it out to you guys to see if someone on here wants to make some cash.
I have the graphics done already, and know what else I want.

Contact me at nick.horne@gmail.com if you are interested.

Wish I wasn't so slammed at my own job these days, I'd love to help you out. Going to pass along the URL of a buddy, not sure if it'll be a match for both of you, but he's good at what he does.

Not sure of the pricing of these people, but Shelley says they are excellent if nothing else pans out.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Norex & Kula are both pricey. They are also both excellent. Kula is more of a total branding solution. Norex did Propeller's site. I'm not sure what they've done in the past few years without clicking through to their site. You can't go wrong with either one, but it won't be cheap.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

I would be more worried about the shops that are cheap, usually a pretty good indication of the quality of work.

Thanks for all of the input guys, I decided to go with PopcornCreative to do my site.

They seem to do good work. We will see!

Looks like I missed the boat on this one.

I work at Revolve an advertising agency in town and also know all the companies you have mentioned even have friends at some of them.
I also used to have my own business specializing in testing websites/games/software to see if they met the actual end users needs.

I would say the hardest part of being a client to an ad agency, is the ability to know if their solution is right for your needs.
(specifically when you aren't a huge company with a marketing team)

If you need any help reviewing anything I work for cheap (beer), am brutally honest and the second set of eyes might do you good.

Anyway pm if you want to discuss further.

I didn't have a good experience with Norex. I believe some heads rolled as a result.
