F@%CK!
Well FFS! I was just hand washing one of my Brewnoser glasses in the sink and it basically shattered! I cut one of my fingers pretty damn deep, but the worst part is that I broke one of my Brewnoser glasses!

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

That's what you get for washing your glasses
Seriously though, it sucks to lose a good glass like that, and a cut only makes it worse.
I do like thin glasses like that all the same. Just have to be more careful over them.

If you've got thin Brewnoser glasses, they must not be the same Brewnoser glasses I have. They're the heaviest glasses I own. Heavy enough to withstand me, so far!
Only a couple of weeks ago, I poked a hole right through the side of one of my Riedel wine glasses - which I could never do with the Brewnoser glass. Still, I bought twice as many Brewnoser glasses as I needed, because I know they can't last...

Re: F@%CK!
Yeah it definitely sucks. I purchased four of them, so at least I have 3 more left. It was weird because I washed this one like I do every other one.....or at least I thought so. Even though I have other beer glasses much thicker, the Brewnoser glasses are great quality. Oh well, shit happens. F'ing finger won't stop bleeding though!Tony L wrote:That's what you get for washing your glasses![]()
