Moose License
Thought I had a chance to get a license this year for moose, but it looks like the the area I hunt has a min pool number of 4 and mine is 5.

Re: Moose License
Does that mean you could hunt in another location, whose pool number is higher?
I never did update you, but the ground moose you gave me made some epic burgers! I couldn't convince EZ to try more than a morsel, though. Wild game isn't her thing.

Re: Moose License
I could have put in for another area where the pool priority is higher and get a license or even put in for a bull or calf to make my chances higher, but I have my area to hunt and am not willing to go anywhere else where I have to travel further and where I do not know the area. Moose hunting gets costly if you miss getting one on the first day. Lots of time and I have friends willing to share with me, so I will always have moose.chalmers wrote:Does that mean you could hunt in another location, whose pool number is higher?
Glad you enjoyed the ground moose.
