Newfoundland icebergs

Post by Tony L » Thu May 01, 2014 6:40 pm

Well i would like to get a chunk out of this one and I just might yet. Would make for another nice Iceberg Brew.
Anyway Chris, seeing you missed getting a close up of an Iceberg while you were here, I took these today at Harbor Main, Conception bay.

Amazing. I took pictures of this very same iceberg from Seal Cove Road in CBS! There are some close icebergs near Cape Spear and Maddox Cove as well.

Check out http://www.icebergfinder.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for where the icebergs are last sighted.

I have a slowly ablating bergy bit in my freezer. Perhaps an iceberg beer would be a fitting end for it.

Would you make an ale or a lager?

This is what it took to make a 5 gallon batch last year.

I just rescued a couple of chunks of bergy bit from Blackhead near Cape Spear. Gonna brew an American Blonde Ale from it tomorrow.
