"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

So I guess I locked my bracket for the second round already. Can you unlock it? I need to re-pick the second round and it seems that others are able to.

looks like i was wrong in my previous statement

An Entrant must submit his or her predictions for every Round prior to the start of Round One of the Playoffs by following the instructions on the Promotion Website. Once Round One commences (beginning with the scheduled start time of the first Playoffs game, based on Eastern Daylight Savings Time), all Playoffs brackets will be locked and no more predictions will be accepted.

Crappy you can't repick. That might mean I could pass folks who didn't pick all the way, though! Small victories...

Is it pretty well all over but the crying?

I think it is. Max points possible in the final with Chicago seeded 1 is 41. And I picked Boston.

My lead appears to be 49.

Never mess with an old hockey player, or a Bruins fan.

Well done, Brewnoser. I'm feeling good that I picked the finalists, but can't catch you.

I actually picked the Sens to beat Montreal. Only missed two - Washington and Carolina let me down.

Otherwise all the way. Had all 4 semi finalists right.

Nice to know someone else had faith in the B's

Hoping I don't get any more wrong.

What's so surprising about that? Seems like the logical choice to me, despite the original seeding...

For those of you who are going to hoptoberfest it's a great opportunity to pay your dept on this pool, the winner (Jeff aka brewnoser) will be there to collect. I sent out a pm but may have missed a couple of contestants :cheers2:
