Been reading the Game of Thrones books. The first 3 I got through in a couple of weeks. Been on the 4th for a year - this one is dull.

I ran into the same problem... once I finally got through #4 I wasn't able to finish the last book.Broob wrote:Been reading the Game of Thrones books. The first 3 I got through in a couple of weeks. Been on the 4th for a year - this one is dull.

#4 is brutal for sure, I enjoyed 5 though
If anyone wants a great sci Fi book, "A Fire Upon The Deep" and "A Deepness In The Sky" are two of my favourites. Both written by Vernor Vinge

There seems to be a pattern forming, I'm on the fifth now but four was tough.Halifax_Jeff wrote:I ran into the same problem... once I finally got through #4 I wasn't able to finish the last book.Broob wrote:Been reading the Game of Thrones books. I'd also recommend "Happiness" by Canadian Will Ferguson, the "Alchemist" by Paolo Coehlo and most things by Steinbeck. PS. and The Little Prince by St. Exupéry.
