Was just out to see it, seems to be dying down which is good. Hopefully they can keep it under control until the rain comes tomorrow!

Saw that on the news - wondered if chalmers had spilled his hot sauce collection, sparking the blaze.

I was at Purcell's pond yesterday when the smoke was first seen over the hill across the way, we thought it was a distance away and didn't need to worry. Until a few experienced hikers came out around the pond warning people that the blaze was closer than it looks and that we should evacuate. Glad that we did get a serious amount of rain today, yesterday it was so so dry in the woods near the lake, and that wind would have made it move quickly!!
