I don't think. If I remember correctly, you have to wait until the buy has ended.

The email I got from Teambuy when I bought these ones says that they are good to be used tomorrow: "Ticket activates: 2012/10/20"

With Teambuy, I think they are active the day after you buy as it gives the business time to print out a report of the voucher numbers.

They usually have a minimum number until the deal is on, but I presume they hit the minimum already.

They are suppose honor the purchase price.

I thought there were new laws preventing things like that from expiring...???

There are laws to prevent gift cards from expiring, don't know if they are specific enough to apply to group buy.
