WJ Hockey

Thought that Canada played a solid game today, but to my mind were outplayed by the Russians in the first couple of peroids.
Still we won.

I think Subban has shown he is worthy of being the starting goalie - I had my doubts through the selection camp and pre-tourney games, but he has come through for the last two games. I think Canada will be better off against the Czech's than with a rematch against USA in the semis.

Should be a good semi final game vs USA, with the US really firing on all cylinders now.

Canada not playing near as well as the USA at this point. Hasn't been a pretty game so far!

US has built momentum since their loss to Canada in the prelims. Gibson has been playing great although he is untested today.

Well that had to be the strangest call to get the first Canada goal! Would love to hear the discussion between the referees.

Very odd indeed. Gibson is quite good though.
