Re: Having one for Stompin Tom
When they announced his death on the radio my dad told me about the time he had a beer with ol' Tom. My grandfather ran a propane refilling company out of his garage and Tom stopped in for a fresh tank (my family's from western PEI). Dad was running the shop that day and offered him a beer. Just said "Sure", chugged the beer, took his tank, hopped back in his truck and took off. Apparently wasn't much for small talk, that Tom.
