Congrats Jeff!
I read not too long ago on FB that Jeff, his wife, and his newborn little boy Keane are home safely from the hospital! Congrats buddy, glad to hear that mom and the little guy are doing great!

Thanks fellas! I'm sure I'll be finding time for a pint at some point! Perhaps a good reason to crack open a bottle of Fantôme.canuck wrote:I'm not sure if he has time for a beer today.........isn't he brewing?akr71 wrote:![]()

Actually, now is the time to really brew, before he starts actually staying awake, moving around, and all that troublesome crap!jeffsmith wrote: I doubt there'll be much brewing going on here for a while!Thankfully I planned ahead a little bit and have a few full kegs to get me through until things settle down a bit.

Yeah, aside from the fact that we've got a two year old tearing around here as well.berley wrote:Actually, now is the time to really brew, before he starts actually staying awake, moving around, and all that troublesome crap!jeffsmith wrote: I doubt there'll be much brewing going on here for a while!Thankfully I planned ahead a little bit and have a few full kegs to get me through until things settle down a bit.

Re: Congrats Jeff!
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

scaring a child that early could lead to major disappointments in later life. It's as bad as making him wear a leafs snuggy!

Congrats, man! Pendy over here just welcomed a new son, too. Too bad about the Oilers thing, though. Habs all the way.
