Sounds Tragic as hell, after reading the replies in the National Post, I feel like witch hunt is gonna take place.
Truly sad indeed for all involved.

If the snake got upstairs through the air vents, that sounds pretty freaky. I hate those bloody snakes and they shouldn’t be kept as pets, but I guess people have to make a living. It’s the parents who will need support, and not a witch hunt. Humanity can be so cruel. Most of us are parents, and I’ve often helped, or tried to help parents through tragic loss of their children. Can you imagine what that’s like!…I can’t.

The thought makes me feel sick to my stomach. I feel so sorry for the parents of those two boys…

Me too. The facts seem to be that they were just visiting the son of the owner of the snake.

Same here. As a Parent of two kids myself, I can't even begin to imagine what they are going through. So senseless as well, which fawking angers me to no end. Animals like this should be banned and not allowed to be kept as pets!!! They should be left in their natural habitat where they belong.

Seems that way Tony, which almost makes it a bit more sad.

This situation is unbelievably tragic...it's so senseless... I think that comment... they should have been left in their natural habitat is correct.

From what I heard on the radio (which may not be that accurate), it was illegal to own/sell them in New Brunswick up until 2009. I agree - there no reason to have an animal like that as a pet. Such a senseless tragedy.
