:)
What was the final decision on beer amounts? I see $20 worth of beer or homebrew (maybe a sixpack?) was suggested previously. Commissioner LD, is that what we're going with?

I'm ready to pay up, and us HRM folk might even have a way of getting the beer to Hogie in a timely fashion. I'm heading to Moncton Sunday, and a friendly Brewnoser offered to hold onto it until a visit to the Island in February. So, losers, please pay up so we can get Hogie wasted.

We should probably get something for Cheesehead, too?
How should we decide the Sacko "winner"?

This sounds promising. I agree that the Cheeseheads deserve something for 2nd place and I'd say the sacko winner gets an old jug of trub.

Yup. And fire it my way today/this evening or tomorrow all day (except approx. 4-8pm).

Otherwise, Hogie has accepted that he would take surplus beer from the latest arrival, if folks wanted to pay their debt that way.

LD, Cheesehead and I have got our beer enroute to Hogie.

Other folks, please make arrangements to send along beer.
For those without an easy way to get it to him, I added two extra allotments to the box. If you want to pay me $20, you're all set!

I was just going to send him $20, but I can send it to you instead and he gets beer?

Thanks for those who have given me beer so far. I look forward to receiving it very soon.

For the others, I'll be in Halifax from Feb 19-23. You can find me at Stillwell then.

Alright Brewnosers, I'm going to fire this bad boy up again so all that were in last year have first dibbs on a team this year. I'm also going to expand to 12 teams if we can find 2 more interested parties.
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I'd love to join if you guys expand or if someone drops off. I bounced around the thread looking for the rules you guys play by, but I didn't see anything. I assume it is the defaults then?

A football in the groin is a football in the groin.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
