Brewnosers 2013-2014 Hockey Pool

Post by LiverDance » Tue Sep 24, 2013 10:52 am

Good morning Boys and Girls, it's that time of year again when we all dream of our team hoisting the most recognizable trophy in all of sports - Lord Stanley's Cup! I can't offer a chance to hoist that cup but I can offer a chance to be the first ever regular season Brewnoser hockey pool champion :cheers2: so who's up for a hockey pool? If you are interested in joining find the pool sheet attached, fill it out and scan or pm your picks before the drop of the puck on October 1st, It will be $20 to enter and payments can be made through emt or in person.

First place takes 50%
Second place takes 30%
Third takes 20%

Good luck to everyone

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Is this a set it and forget it pool or does it require lineup attention, etc?

I'd like to have a go. It would be all chance though for me, and I'd tick boxes at random.

Brian, How do I fill it out for emailing? The PDF doesn't seem to be editable. Is there a MS word version? or do you have a fax # I can print off, tick boxes and fax to you? When do you want the money?

I tried to think up as many stupid questions as I could, just so if I win it will be even more of a shock for everyone.

Thanks.
