The Technical Analyst major responsibilities include:
•Overall support, repair, and maintenance of PC’s, laptops, mobile devices, & printers.
•Some voice and network projects and support for Avaya Contact Center systems.

Responsibilities:
•Daily supports local and remote associates PC’s, printers, and mobile devices.
•Will work out of centralized tickets logging system (ServiceNow) which includes determining priority and adhering to Service Level Agreements.
•Schedule repair, upgrading, and preventive maintenance of all PC’s, laptops and printers, including working with 3rd party vendors.
•Assist in Avaya Contact Center projects in Canada and the US. (2-4 times per year)
•Maintains all relevant documentation.
•Participate in 24/7 on call pager coverage rotation.

Education:
•Degree in computer science, business administration or related field preferred.
•Microsoft Operating or Office System certifications, or equivalent demonstrated work experience

Experience:
•3-5 years Personal Computer experience: PC software / hardware, Microsoft Office suite, Windows 7, imaging software, software deployment systems (Altiris, BigFix)
•2-3 years network experience: DHCP, TCPIP, ability to diagnose and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks.
•Experience Avaya Communication Manager and CMS a plus

Skill Requirements:
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Proven customer service abilities.
•Excellent time-management skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks / projects simultaneously.
•Must work well as part of a team as well as independently.
•Schedule must be flexible during peak times. Available to work outside the typical workday hours.
•Must be available for scheduled 24/7 on call rotation.
•Travel:

Periodic trips within Canada– Amherst, Dartmouth, St. Johns (2-4 per year)
Possible trip to US for either projects or team meeting
