I'm so done with tape talk and their shitty app. Anyone know if phpbb supports a mobile friendly version? I simply would like to use this site on my phone without any app.

Yes, tapatalk is kind of shitty. I think it was a bit better a few versions ago but then they went and fucked it up some more, amd more. Recently I think it's gotten a bit better but it seems go have connection issues now, doesn't update your feed properly, and has annoying ads. I thought I paid money for this.

Also, PHPBB sucks too and I think it's still better to browse the forums using tapatalk.

Tapatalk on iOS is great. Haven't had any issues at all.

I paid for tapatalk on iOS and have had it for about 2 years now I believe. The early versions were great but the last few releases have changed the UI for the worse. So much flashy crap and they force you to sign up with their shitty account. Back to web version for me on the iPad.

Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed in the new releases as well. Fortunately, I only paid 99 cents for the app. I run it on the iPad and nexus, and find it about the same on both.

I can't use the browser version on the cell though. Painful.

I've perfected clicking on the little "quick reply" button without zooming on my 4.5 inch phone screen. It's never really bothered me

I use tapatalk 95 percent of the time for reading the forum, Android version on my cheap tablet and on the BlackBerry Q10. It seems to work well for me.

The other issue with using the browser is that it chewed up a much higher rate of data than Tapatalk, so even with it's bugs, Tapatalk still is a good choice for me.
