Beer in Arizona

Post by mackay85 » Sun Jan 17, 2016 12:13 pm

Hey fellas, I'm heading down to Arizona in a few months and was hoping to hit a few breweries. Anyone been there and can recommend a brewery or two? I'll mainly be in the Phoenix area. I've checked online and found a few, but not sure which would be better:

(All in Phoenix)
- Four Peaks
- SanTan
- Desert Eagle
- The Beer Research Institute
- Arizona Wilderness Brewery

Thanks!

I haven't been, however google can find anything. Not so much breweries, but a few great beer spots. Many list local options. Hope it helps.

I was just doing some research into this as well. My wife and I are visiting family in Scottsdale in the last week of March.

Hey Barker, I think I'm there the first week of March and mostly in the Mesa area. I'll let you know where I went and what's good! I prefer heavy on the hops, so the info might come back a little IPA-biased!

Just spent some time in Arizona. Overall there was lots of selection and enjoyed the Santan variety 12 pack which was mixed with a hefe, a pale, a golden lager and a pineapple ale (3 of each). All pretty tasty. Didn't get a chance to visit many breweries but if you are in the area, look for Total Wines...HUGE single and 6-pack selection. Although be sure to bring your passport...even if you look closer to 40 they won't accept NS Drivers License!
