Friend bought this and wanted me to make it, so i started it last night, OG was rated between 1.050-1.060, i clocked in around 1.052- 054, Thought that was pretty good for a first time, The worst part of making stuff is having to wait lol....
anyways anyone ever tried this wine? wondering what the outcome is, because the fruit puree smells awesome and makes me want to keep it lol.

Re: Niagra mist blackberry malbec
so i moved this to the secondary after 5 days, because it stoped fermenting in the primary, it has been at a constant 25-26 degrees, due to the brew belt, and being warm in here now, is it normal for it to still be fermenting after being in the secondary for 10 days? the instructions say it could take an extra day or two, but its been in there 10 days, and still quite a bit of activity going on. Waiting on the next step, to let it "age" and degass, then let it clear... but this seems to be holding me up.

Kits can take several days to complete fermentation. Check the sg and see if it is dropping.

Just let it go until it is finished I'd say.

this is a perfect wine for someone who is not a fan, it's sweet, has the wine kick but almost tastes like juice. Id make it again mainly for the women or to impress them by saying hey try this i made wine for you lol.. Now on to the next kit.
