Have you done a six month sample of this one? I have been thinking about pulling one of these together.

Re: Elderflower Mead
This is my first time with elderflowers. I made a grape mead and strawberry mead two years ago. They are coming along nicely. I made a blueberry mead 3 years ago and forgot about it until this summer...it has turned out to be outstanding! I wasn't crazy about it early on.Graham.C wrote:Have you done a six month sample of this one? I have been thinking about pulling one of these together.
I've also got a 2 year-old apple mead that turned out wrong...tastes like lavender soap. I'll probably dump it soon.

Racked this one the other day. Very nice elderflower nose and flavour. I think it's gonna be quite good.
