Spammers
We don't get many, but I thought an official thread to identify them might make life easier for the people who boot them into hell.

Re: Spammers
Part of me wants to suggest upping the verification requirements. The rest of me doesn't want to scare new users. Does the system send a confirmation email out to ensure the address is legit?
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

Re: Spammers
From what I've read online about the verification that I am using now, is that it hasn't yet been cracked and the only thing getting past it is human spammers that hand it over to a bot once registered.benwedge wrote:Part of me wants to suggest upping the verification requirements. There isn't really enough getting through at this point for me to be concerned about it.

Re: Spammers
I sent you and chalmers a note in my spammer list via the continuing email. Did it go to trash?
Edit: Only went to chalmers, he must have missed it.

I got it, but didn't delete them cuz they hadn't spammed. I'm not going to deny that their posts weren't the most informative or legible , but I could say that about half of the guys on here!

You have a sixth sense for them. Maybe you should be able to remove them just by thinking abut it.
