When I post pictures in the forums I'm limited to 500x500 pixels. Mr. X. doesn't seem to have the same limit. Why?

Also, the picture I posted in 'Board index : Main Forum : Recipes : Freezer Clearing Imperial Amber' mysteriously disappeared. What might have happened to it?

Was the picture you posted in that thread an attachment or a link from another hosting site?

As for the size limit, I'm not sure why it's limiting some and not others. It's supposed to be set to limit everyone, and I don't know why it isn't. I will look into it tonight.

Mine are attachments. Maybe X is linking to an external site.

Yeah, it does look like X's are attachements. I can change the maximum dimensions, but figured 500x500 would be plenty big?

500x500's fine, especially if I can link to larger ones elsewhere. I just wanted to know how X was able to do something I wasn't able to.

Do you know why my other picture disappeared? Do images expire after a while?

To be honest, I don't have a clue why it disappeared...it doesn't even show that there was ever an attachment in that post. Have you been able to post attachments since then?

Are my pics too big for your guys? Sometimes it's nice to have the additional detail, but sometimes it's a pain in the ass too.

The size doesn't matter to me. I just set it to 500x500 to avoid having to scroll. Just me be lazy.

Where do you set that?

It was my first upload and the others seem to have stayed. It must have been an anomaly.
