BJCP Sub-Forum

I am wondering if a sub-forum for the folks interested in the BJCP exam would be a good idea. Looking for a place to ask questions. Graham brought it up once, thought I would second him on it.

Anyone have any input? Is a sub forum warranted for this?
My personal opinion is no, but how do others feel? It seems like it's such a small proportion of the discussion on the forum, and is really only applicable to the 12 or so people participating. Seems like a sticky would be more appropriate - how much would the sub forum get used after the testing is over? Either way, I don't mind adding a sub forum it's warranted.

I think a new sticky would be good for us studying for the exam, but I find stickies get in the way in many topics. Maybe tuck it in a less used section and I can PM everyone on the writing list where to find it.

I vote for a sub-forum, that way those of us involved can go to it, and those not involved will not see the clutter in their regular pages. Can one subscribe (or un-subscribe) from a sub-forum? So people who want to ignore it won't have the threads popping up in their "view unread posts" list.

I think a sub forum is the best route, and im not involved... My personal opinion is that long topics (>100-200 posts) are horrible to follow - if you don't read every post (or if the discussion is over a long period of time and you forget earlier posts), it's a huge pain.

Good point and it can turn into a judging discussion forum afterwards.
