At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

"Not with a bang but a whimper."

These things generally go out the way cblocals has - people have just lost interest. If it's just Jimmy who loses interest, then we hope that we haven't pissed him off so badly he destroys all the posts & configs before he quits :-) [Though if that's a fear, I suppose I could run a regular spider to back it up], and somebody else takes over the site (if not the actual domain name). If we all lose interest (clearly not going to happen soon), then nobody really cares if the site gets shut down.

The homebrew force is strong in Sprytown
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I'm new to all of this but I just want to say thank you to Jimmy and everyone else who works to keep this all going. I'm sure it's a lot more work than anyone realizes.

Depends what the forums are used for. Facebook isn't much of a substitute for a forum like this or technical forums.

I don't know why, but I find that comment funny beyond belief.
