Messages stuck in outbox

Has anybody had messages sitting in their outbox for long periods of time? I sent a message to fishd today, and it still shows in my outbox...???

Do messages sit in your outbox until the recipient logs in next? I've noticed mine sitting as well.

You sir, are correct. Messages sit in the outbox until they are read, at which point they teleport to your sent messages.
