Jimmy started this site 4 years ago today. Looks like Chalmers joined the very next day, and so on and so on (list here). Now there are just over I,000 members.

For the sake of any newer folks on here, this forum was not the beginning of this group, only a new online home for it. That's not a slight against Jimmy and the rest of the fine folks that keep this site going, just simply keeping things in perspective. All that being said, I'm quite happy not to go back to the days of the listserv 
. This site has been a great leap forward for the group. Here's to another 4 years for the forum (and another 3 decades for the group!) You're the finest bunch of arseholes and degenerates I could ask for

Awesome, hadn't realized the forums had been going that long. We've grown quite a bit in the last four years!
For fun, I just checked my email history, and I can see that I joined the Chebucto mailserv on Nov 9, 2008, and that would have been my first interaction with the group. I'm 99% sure it was after reading a reference to the Brewnosers in the Coast, thanks to Tim Bousquet.

Yeah I saw the listserv but never joined it til I joined the forums... The site looked very out of date before the forum started. Its great!
