Hello our fellow beer lovers!
Our apologies that it has been way too long since the last update. The Burnside location has been going through renovations and changes and we really want to update you on all that’s new!
Featured beer styles – every few months we showcase a new beer style and create a recipe which becomes incorporated into our recipe book at Noble Grape! Examples of ones we have already done are our Baltic Porter and New England IPA. Come in to any location and check out the featured beer recipe!
Limited Best Case – Noble Grape has two limited Best Case beer kits available for the next few months! The “Wheat Kings” is a Weizen style that is medium bodied, thirst-quenching and has a traditional fruity profile that this style is famous for. Tettnanger hops are included to give a lovely spice note. This will be perfect for hot summer days.
The other kit is called the “Low Ryder” and is a rye IPA! This IPA will have spicy and earthy notes as well as citrus undertones. The rye IPA is a newer beer style that has grown in popularity since 2015.
Cryo hops – we now have a product called cryo hops! These are pouches of 1 oz hops that are concentrated to reduce the amount of plant matter that ends up in your beer. This means you use half of what you would normally need and still get the same intensity of flavour! We have Cascade, Citra, Equanot, Mosaic and Simcoe to choose from. These are especially popular for dry hopping! Check out their website for more information (https://ychhops.com/hop-products/cryo-hops).
Liquid yeast switcheroo – we have recently switched to a new brand of liquid yeast called White Labs! White Labs has such a large and wonderful variety of yeast to suit any beer style of your liking. Ask us for any equivalent of liquid yeast you are used to and we will find you a great match. With White Labs yeast there’s no more smacking the pack to activate the yeast, no more worries about yeast expiring in such a short amount of time and there’s also the convenience of a smaller package. Each pack of this yeast is only $8.99!
New Line of Dry Yeast – Noble Grape also has a new line of dry yeast to offer to you. Mangrove Jack’s has a fantastic line that includes a wide variety for any beer style. Come check out what we have to offer and our staff will be happy to lead you in the right direction.
Hope to see you all soon and happy brewing to you!
Updates are BACK!
