Looks good Nash. I've got to get my ass in gear and smoke some salmon.

The hardest part is finding rolling papers large enough.

Nice one! Looks delish.

I smoked the pork for 11 hours on Mesquite. Pulling it in the morning.
Should be good eats tomorrow!

Giving some salmon and a beef roast a go on the grill today.

Prepped the salmon in a concoction of brown sugar, maple syrup, olive oil, water and maple pepper.

Injected the beef roast with marinade and covered in a steak rub on the outside...I've got no clue how either will turn out :?

25 pages is long enough for this topic. Lets start a new one to make it easier to find something at a later date. I don't feel like browsing through 75 pages of discussion to find a specific post.

Let's see what's cooking for Fall :cheers3:

Added the red taters. Also threw in some fine grated for quick chowder texture. Scraped the cobs before I chucked them. That was the last pic unfortunately. Imagine the pot 3/4 full with 10 cobs of scaled corn and onion thrown in, with 500ml light cream. :mmm:

Thanks to Bobby for bringing the corn to Hoptoberfest.

The finished product. Corn for munching, and the squash for roasted squash curry hummus from Stephen Beaumont's book. Wicked good stuff - and I usually hate hummus....

Glad to see it went to good use! And is that the actual Orval that someone brought on Saturday or more of the sour stout?

Not a cob wasted. Not even a bad one, very good quality. That was sour stout, last beer standing.

Hey, what about that delicious looking squash man  ... did that go into the soup? All that squash needs is a little butter and salt and pepper...
