Some us went out last night to Stillwell to try the Big Spruce comp winning beer " Bráthair Éric". I feel like it turned out to be a good session beer. Well, I brewed it so I'm bias lol.

From what I understand , talking with Chris last night, they will tap the cask tonight. The casks were was dry hoped. It will be interesting to see the difference...

I have to say that it's a great feeling when you see your beer up on the wall

I'm here now. Drinking Eric's beer. It's different. Definitely a more pronounced hop flavor. It's good tho.

A head's up for your weekend planning: We will be closed this Sunday, January 25th, to host a party for our friends at @AgricolaStreet

No, you're not dreaming! This Valentine's Day we will be hosting one of our true loves, @troududiable. 12 taps, 3 sessions (12-3pm, 4-7pm and 8pm), by-the-glass pours from their barrel program and representatives from the brewery in attendance! $20 gets you your first pour and an awesome piece of glassware to keep - tickets can be purchased at the bar or reserved via tix@barstillwell.com.
I highly doubt I'll be attending unless Erin says yes. lol.

We're going to the 8pm session and will be staying downtown for the night. Will likely be going somewhere for supper beforehand.
