Refractometer
Looking for a refractometer that measures specific gravity, rather than Brix. Have one here from Germany, wondering if anyone has a North American supplier.

Why brew beer I can buy?

Re: Refractometer
Most of the refractometers with SG on them, use a linear scale (which isn't very accurate).
What gets worse is you pretty much have to apply a "wort correction factor" to get accurate readings. The simplest way is to use a Brix and let something like the beersmith converter do it for you (once youve got your correction factor).
