Ah - you must have some different larger sizes then. Which makes sense for places that move the beer fast.

You guys have any update on whether Tom's will be down for any significant duration? Brett was implying it might be zero. The new place doesn't look at all ready though.

Right now they think they'll be shut ~ 10 - 12 days. Last day at the old spot is October 28th.

Yeah. That's more like what I thought looking at where it's at They could possibly open earlier without a kitchen.

Their liquor license probably doesn't allow that though.

Went to the new joint on Cunard by L&M tonight. I expect it's just an inexperienced server, but on the draft list it just says 'Unfiltered". We asked him which beer, and he said the beer is called unfiltered and made by a brewery called Exile on North Street. Haha. He at least seemed quite receptive to being corrected.

Hahahaha!! Awesome, I'll give them a shout about it. I went for dinner the other day and noticed it on the menu and thought it pretty odd since days earlier they asked me the name of the beer was. "Exile On North Street". I didn't ask them about it because I thought maybe they planned to be switching styles on our line. Thanks for the heads up!

Just tried to go there and despite their site saying they were open. And their posted hours as well, they weren't. Not ready for brunch yet. Sadly it was. Tall Ships around the corner at The Station. (Who need better beer and wine)

Shit we must have just crossed paths because Brenna & I literally did the same thing around 1pm or so... haha. I just had coffee at the station...

And yes, I was going back to the same place two days in a row - I was real jealous of Gavin's sandwich last night when I got the ramen.

Well you know it's 30 seconds from my door. Behind which lurks beer. Always worth checking.

First taste of the All Falc'd Up. It is a great example of the West Coast DIPA style. I am calling it an OregAHSM (Oregon Assorted Hops Single Malt)

Bwahahaha. That's awesome.

For the record, I liked the DOA more because I loves me some Citra, but the AFU is pretty fucking tasty. Massive aroma, plenty of backbone and solid bitterness. I almost wish it wasn't a double so I could drink more of it tonight.
