you should request a vendor debrief to see the justification on the scoresheet they gave you. You won't know what the others scored but it'll probably give you an indication where the point spread went.

Also stoked for Beergarden 2.0. Cheers crew Stillwell!CPR wrote:Thanks guys. We were preeeetty surprised if I'm being honest; last year went really well and the feedback was good from all concerned. We're not too bothered though; the views down there were nice, but it also got real chilly at night. We're stoked for Beergarden 2.0!

If they can manage to get in on Peche day, don't see why they couldn't pull off a tap takeover. Now if only they could get in on Zwanze Day.

Not April Fool's, 12 or more DDC beers, details and tickets on sale this week, I was told.

Re: the DDC tap takeover, it's looking like a weekend-long mini fest. We're lucky enough to be getting many cool beers, tons of rarities & one-offs including Dernier Volonte refermented with brett, BBA variants of a few beers, Solstice D'été with cherries (have never seen this outside of a couple of bars), bunch of super-fresh hoppy beers and some of their super-limited sour blends. Probably going to open at noon on the Friday (save your sick days), then again noon on the Saturday. 90% sure we're going to try no tickets again.
Zwanze Day is definitely a dream of ours. Been working on it since day 1. One of these years!

Re: Official Stillwell Thread
Oh my, those kegs sound amazing! I'll probably miss the first day, I'm sure there'll be plenty of nice ones still available Sat.
And for those who missed it, tickets are now available for Stilly's April 3 Beer Dinner. They're inviting chefs from local restaurants to put together a course, and each is paired with a special beer. Looks like a fulfilling evening, I'm sure it will be awesome! http://www.eventbrite.ca/e/fbd-tickets-22615170584" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for the plug Chris!
To clarify the DDC event though, we have 12 kegs going on Friday at noon, then an additional 12 going on Saturday at noon. Fresh line-up both days!

Anyone heading down early on the Friday? I have too many vacation days saved up (i.e. use 'em or lose 'em), so plan on starting at noon and hanging out for the day.

I'll just leave this right here.
That's the right place, IMHO. Brewnoser may well take "stumbling home across the commons" to dazzling new heights this summer
