Don Bretons - CO2 cost increase

Post by Maritimer » Mon Dec 05, 2016 4:10 pm

Just an FYI, my 20 lb tank used to cost 25+tax, it is now 40+tax. Quite a jump in cost.
According to the receptionist, they were loosing money on CO2 fills and had to make an increase.
Beer.

And you made sure to specify Draught/beer vs. other fill, correct? I've almost been burned by that previously.

It was a draft fill. I wonder if it just came into affect today.

I have been paying $63.00 in Peterborough for a few years now for a 20 lb tank.

I just had 2 20lb tanks refilled and it was almost a $100 bucks - I thought it seemed high but it had been a while since I had them filled.

Thanks for the second confirmation. It was great while it lasted, I guess! And I believe it's still a few dollars cheaper than anywhere else, but minimal savings over Simplex.

Maritime Safety up here in Glace Bay is $20 for a five pound and $30 for a ten. Don't know how much a 20 pound is, but based on that progression probably $40.
