Hello All,
I am new to brew!! Just purchased my first kit from Noble Grape with the "Best Case" Honey Brown Ale. I will be starting the brew tonight after sanitizing the fermentor and I hope it goes well. I was advised to get the bag of pre-mix for my first time, but there was no options for a beer I liked, which is why I grabbed the honey brown.
My favorite beers in no order are: Breton: Sons of Hector; Boxing Rock: Porter; 9 Locks ESB; Granville Island Winter Ale; Guiness; any Irish cream ale.
Looking forward to trying this!!

Thanks!
The cooking went well. My primary fermenter had a 1" hole drilled in the top, but no extra bung for the airlock. So i duct taped the hole over and just set the lid on loose. Hopefully that doesnt ruin the batch Its is still fermenting now. Pretty excited to taste it

So i racked my wort this morning over to the fermonster. This is what it looks like as of right now:.
Also I took picture of what the wort looked like from the primary fermenter. If you see something that doesn't look right let me know.
Will the fermonster explode? I read i could do a blow-off hose, but if not......
This picture was right after i finished racking. I think the temperature is good. Highest was 20deg celsius
Thanks!

Okay, so i racked my beer to my bottling bucket last sunday.
Glad i purchased the pet-cock and added to my bucket, so easy bottling. A few drops fell to their death, nothing serious.
Now tonight I get to enjoy my labours: popped the first one, nice snap, some fog rolled out and it fizzed. Wasnt sure if i had mixed the sugar properly, but i guess so.
Looks nice and clear, tastes pretty good. Im very pleased with this first batch. Yum!
