Did up a Sumac Saison on Sunday and a coconut IPA last night...need to get those taps flowing again!
Care to share the recipe? I collected some sumac this year and have contemplated brewing with it.

Brewed up the Pliny the elder clone from the 80 classic recipes book yesterday. Woke up to a healthy fermentation... And a bit of a mess haha.

It was my first time using the new grainfather I got from the Kijiji ad that cam posted about, and the first time I used my new stir plate, all the new toys. I guess I underestimated how vigorous the fermentation would be for a large pitch on a 1.071 wort... Opps haha

I've had my share of "healthy" fermentations lately, especially with Kviek/belle saison. It's funny though, when i plan in advance and use the blow off tube from the get go, i often dont seem to need it ;)

Two brews this weekend. Did version 4 of the Lemon Ginger Ale I brew every year for my wife's birthday and yesterday I took a crack at a zero IBU "IPA" with all flame-out and dry hops. Had one from Left Field Brewing a while back and it was fantastic! Turned into an epic brew day with missing chiller parts, leaks, a trip out for propane, too much wind to reach a boil resulting in moving everything to the other side of the house and way too many trips up and down the basement stairs carrying water! I hope the beer is good!!
Fermenting: Sticke Altbier, Amarillo Saison, DDH Amarillo IPA with Verdant Yeast
On Tap: Good Morning Spider Hop Harvest IPA

I’d be interested in the recipe for your lemon ginger ale? Can I find it on beer smith? Sound like something we would be interested in trying.
