Hi! I joined a couple of weeks ago and have been lurking and looking around - I figured I should say hello. .
I few years ago I made a few kits and really enjoyed it but drifted away from the hobby. Last year I decided to get back into it and stepped up a knot ha to a partial mash kit and really enjoyed it so decided to take the plunge and try full grain.
I’ve made a few full grain kits - so far I’ve bought “recipe kits” from Noble & Best Case, I haven’t tried just buying ingredients yet, that’s next I guess! .
I gave legging a try recently too, wow! So much easier! I am going to be building a keezer very soon. I’ve been collecting parts.
Anyway, that’s a quick from me. Looking forward to learning from you all! I’m glad to have stumbled into this group, I found it when looking for keezer plans. .

Re: New guy from the Prospect Area
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
