Post by Graham.C » Wed Feb 22, 2012 11:00 pm

From Acadie-Broue Facebook:
Lancement de ''La Gaboteuse'' au Big Tide Brewery à St-Jean le 10 mars prochain est ANNULÉ. La bière sera maintenant disponible ce samedi le 25 février au Big Tide Brewery.

The launch of the collaboration beer ''La Gaboteuse'' at the Big Tide Brewery in St-John is CANCELLED. The beer will be available this Saturday February 25th at the Big Tide Brewery.
Someone commented that growlers can be filled already.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

From what I heard from Patrice (I was a little tipsy), it is some hoppy saison-esque thingy, surprised the aging was cut short by two weeks... maybe the lacto went nuts?

Big Tide is renowned for slamming beers on to the taps too early because they don't brew enough early enough and insist on keeping every tap full all the time rather than limiting it to product which is ready. It would take someone who cares about beer running the place, rather than an owner who knows it all and overrules his part time brewmaster. /rant.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

At the Laundromat last night, someone said the exact same thing. You weren't there were you?
