It's been strangely quiet on the keg front lately, but I'll keep my eyes open.

cornys are up all the time, $40 a piece which is overkill but they're there. Otherwise regulators and tubing are something you'll probably need to buy new... That being said it seems a lot of guys in Oromocto are dumping equipment.

check the moncton ads.....there's at least two, maybe three guys that sell ball locks any day of the week....some even deliver if they're going to the area anyways. Usually around 20-35 each i think..pending how many you buy.

There's a guy in Moncton that I've spoken with that sells for $30/each and makes regular trips to Halifax and will deliver. I'm just cheap and holding out for some $20 kegs. :D

Thank you for all of the tips!

I will check out the ads in Moncton. If I do find a deal, I will let everyone know. Maybe get a deal on a bunch.

Jeff do you have contact info for the guy in Moncton?

I am not sure how you "lost" the kegs that went with your ball lock connectors Thirdeye, but I will keep your connectors in mind.

This guy is asking too much, but he will deliver :) Also I'm actually looking for connectors, so Bluenose if you still have 'em I'd be interested.

I thought the Ontario beer kegs deal was decent for keg systems with the free shipping; until I seen how high he raised his prices. I got a quote with shipping on Tuesday and now it costs MORE with "FREE" shipping. LOL

thirdeye, I plan on giving the guy in Moncton a call after work.

I was on Ontario beer kegs earlier in the week and was planning on getting some stuff from them, then the prices all went up...

The only things that went up were select kits that went in large boxes and co2 tanks/kegs below is two illustrations:

Old format for two kegs (99.99) and a co2 tank (79.99) and reg (49.99)= 229.97 which pushes into a large 28 X 18 X 18 box for 43 shipping= 272.97
New format for two kegs (109.99) and a co2 tank (89.99) and reg (49.99)= 249.97 which pushes into a large 28 X 18 X 18 box Free shipping 249.97

Dual reg kit and two kegs old format 299.99 which pushes into a large 28 X 18 X 18 box for 43 shipping= 342.99
Dual reg kit and two kegs new format 329.99 which pushes into a large 28 X 18 X 18 box Free shipping= 329.99

Here is the quote from CPC:

A Rate From To Length Width Height Weight
N0K 1N0 E3B 0G3 28.00 in. 18.00 in. 18.00 in. 40.000 lb.
Base Price $35.64
Fuel Surcharge $2.41
Tax $4.95
Total $43.00

This format benefits the consumer and the response has been great from folks on the coast and prairies so far. Plus you have a forum discount.

Now lets compare the two keg dual reg kit with a similar kit from an American competitor and select to ship with a CO2 tank and a double regulator:
http://kegcowboy.com/index.php?dispatch ... uct_id=136" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thats $379 USD plus shipping plus brokerage
Our price 329.99 minus 5% forum discount 313.49 plus taxes (varies by province) shipped.

If people need things moved from Moncton to Halifax (or vice versa), I can usually help. I'll be doing that leg Friday. Email me if I can be helpful.
