Not sure which one existing store they mean, though... maybe it's one of the distillers who does sales on-site.

I saw this wino, he was eating grapes. I was like, "Dude, you have to WAIT!" - Mitch Hedberg

That would be great. I've heard rumbling of something similar planned for Fredericton as well.

Hmm. Beer in convenience stores? More details likely coming in this afternoon's provincial budget.

Where is this one private store that they're referring to?

Could it be the Myriad View Distillery (the Strait Shine guys) out in Souris?

The one privately owned store is in Morell. Been operating for along time. Not sure how the owner pulled that off (cough politics). Still has to follow the pricing and hours as the rest of the stores, I believe.
Drinking: Red Hook clone
Waiting on: Fruit beer

Interesting. Wonder how many years it's been open. I had no idea it even existed. Not that I have occasion to frequent the Morell area much these days…spuds wrote:The one privately owned store is in Morell. Been operating for along time. I wish we had some private stores here in NB. I'd give my left nut for a store like Premier Wines in Saint John.
