Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
Will the printed logo look better than this? I would think it would be easier to print much of the details that are harder to get with stitching..

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
The beer colour should be all one colour, but other than that, due to its small size, that's all we can expect.
Go with a larger patch like the one I want for the back of a jacket and the detail will become better.
The one for the full front shirt should be better, although it isn't stitched.

AgreedJimmy wrote:I'd say it definitely needs some work. The hop cone is basically unrecognizable, the star as well (all black kind of defeats the purpose of a nautical star doesn't it?), and the beer should be 1 color (the 2 shades just looks like a fuck up when stitched). I know nothing about capabilities of logo stitching, so I may be expecting more than what's reasonable...seems decent though for the size.
I'm wondering if thin black lines on the hop cone would work better than the 2 shades of green?

At that size with that much detail in the logo, It doesn't look like embroidering is the best way to go. If we are going in that direction, I'm going to need to spend some time simplifying the logo and adjusting some things. I won't get a chance to look at doing anything until Monday at the earliest.

The week pretty much got away from me work wise—Jeramy, any chance you could send me the dimensions for embroidering the logo?

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
Jeramy and I are currently working with the clothing vendor to get a better quality version of the logo stitched up since the detail of the logo makes it pretty tough to embroider. I'm sure Jeramy will post an update as soon as he has more info to share.

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
I will be picking up an embroidery sample of the revised logo on friday. Screen printing to be ready to go ahead probably by friday.
Keep in mind future repeat orders will be straight forward with no minimums for embroidery and 12 minimum for printing with slightly different per unit prices based on quantities.
As for glasses, we are currently at 45 of the 108 minimum. There was some discussion about holding some inventory of glasses which will certainly bump the numbers but we still have a way to go.

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
Here's the stitch sample of the revised logo.
Very crisp and clean, good work Jeff.
The white lettering does not have great contrast on the light grey base but we can request black lettering on light colored items without any extra revisions or charges. This is my recommendation.
Comments concerns?
Once we have a thumbs-ups consensus we'll pull the trigger.

I think the hop would look better if it was moved down a bit, but it's not a big issue, and at this stage of things, it looks good to me.

Looks much better. Odd how the spacing around Atlantic Canada keeps getting fudged, I guess that's just one of those things we have to deal with though.

The white on black should look great .. and black on lighter colors should be just as sharp. Great job.

That looks great.
Will look awesome on a black background, which many of you have ordered.
And to be clear, once this is set up, I can drop them off (where are they?) a piece of clothing, or fabric and they will do a one-off embroidery for me?
Did we finalize the discussion about getting the file to that place in the mall that will do the same?
Jeff

Good response. Provided no further objections, I'll give the go ahead.

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
Definitely. Are you making the decision on the text color based on the fabric color?
