Veggies are fine, he may have company. I was thinking of making an item something like this on a long baguette to keep the peace.

I'll likely bring a side or some finger food based on whatever peppers I have ripening next week.

Yes, please do. I'm going to get a food thread up soon. Lamb burgers will be the main event, but we'll want some side dishes, plus lighter snacks for the afternoon.

My darling wife has already volunteered to make a couple cheese dips (I assume she means to include the chips/crackers/veggies too) which would qualify as light snacks for the afternoon.

X, should we start a thread on beer and beer equipment? I don't know if hauling my CO2 tank to Halifax makes any sense, especially if people have extra gas lines/jockey box I could get in on for the keg I am bringing. Plus it will have the added effect of getting me (and likely most of you) excited about the awesome brews we will be drinking.

I am trying to convince a +1 to come so Delta Force is 2 for sure, hopefully 3. Is there a cut off date for firm answers?

Not really. It's more for me/us to gauge the amount of food required. I am planning on an 8 oz burger per person.
