300g Melanoidin 8%
40g Vanguard 60 min (25.6 IBU)
30g Vanguard 20 min (11.6 IBU)
25g Vanguard 10 min (5.8 IBU)
25g Vanguard 0 min
Saflager S23

OG 1.045
IBU 43

Mash at 66C
Boil for 90 min

Forgot to mention that its supposed to be a pilsner. I'm hoping I will have the patience to let it lager long enough that it will be a lawnmower beer... maybe a spring wood splitting beer :chug:

I figured it was an imperial pils with those IBUs

i did a pilsner with almost the same hop schedule / IBU, except i didnt add melanoiden and used wakatu instead.

would be good to trade.

I've only brewed with Vanguard twice, but if you like Hallertau I'd say you'll like Vanguard. I've also never used it in a Pils, but I think it would be excellent in one. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this one.
