I did ask. I was informed the clientele were not that type.
I could not care less for "the game" but buy or rent a couple of TV's for the day makes sense to me.

I know the last thing I want is to see is the one great place to drink in this city turn into some kind of hipster bar...

Maybe it's already over, the lumberjacks have won...

My jeans are "Beer Gut" ready and I can barely see out of my glasses.
UL Smoked porter and a Crafty Jack. I wanted a BA RIS but they had none.

When will we see your "Stilwell, please burn down" thread? I can only imagine it's coming soon.mr x wrote: Their clientele were not that type? Are you fucking serious.

I hope you are voicing your concerns to the staff about the people wearing plaid, otherwise they may not see/hear them.

Then your imagination needs to be sent out for recalibration. The owners at Stillwell are quite nice people, so that thread won't exist by my pen.chalmers wrote:When will we see your "Stilwell, please burn down" thread? I can only imagine it's coming soon.

Re: Official Stillwell Thread
People who go to Stillwell are beer fans. There is no live dance, no baroque chamber quartets, cirque du Soleil, or football. Jest beer and some good food. Mostly beer.

Re: Official Stillwell Thread
From what I am reading, Stillwell 'people' are anal to the point that they can't tolerate the possibility that something interrupt whatever it is they need to be a beer fan. Seriously, if I can tolerate slobbering drunks explaining RIS to me without prompt, can that same person not tolerate a television and still be able to enjoy themselves? Or are sports fans to lowbrow too drink with? Christ, when we were there yesterday, there were two people sitting behind us with football jerseys on....
