That's thé same controller and same seller. You're more likely to share a Pliny with a drunken unicorn than to get dinged with Customs from Asia in my experience

StillDragon's main guy is an ex-pat who lives in China and gets the parts to his ...ummm...water distillation units crafted by vendors there. He mass ships large quantities of his products to Oz and North America where there are territorial franchisees. You want to be talkin' to a guy named Larry at http://www.stilldragon.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; who is based out of Florida. I, too, went the electric brewery model and looking back it would have been a heck of a lot simpler to TIG a 2" ferrule to the pot and used their tri-clamp setup and the DIY controller.

In case you never figured it out, the original link was to StillDragon.com.AU (aka Australia)...

http://www.stilldragon.com/diy-controller.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As lsydd mentioned, you can contact the NA guy here: smaug@stilldragon.com

That's probably cheaper or on par with what I built mine for

I've read through all the posts on this topic.

What is the consensus?

Are these "dial" adjusting devices good to use?

So basically you are using:

An element
A dial to adjust the temperature
A switch to turn the element on and off???

This sounds completely simple...and great!

Updated pics would be good also.

I actually don't use my on/off switch for anything so basically all I have is an element on a dimmer switch (dial)

it's the cat's ass, say no to gas

Ok.

My kettle has two 2000W elements mounted.

I am going to wire this up on the weekend. See how it goes.

I'm wanting to add a switch to the build but I'm not sure what to buy or how to wire it.

Anyone have any leftover silicone o-rings from their element install? Or any other parts they want to part out? Going through the same tedious job of sourcing parts for my upcoming electric keggle build.....PM preferred. Thanks folks.
