Hi All,
I'm looking for a 500 gram brick of Saflager w-34/70 and I see Dave at Everwood has been out of stock; any suggestions on how to obtain rapidly?
I'm planning a 40 gal pilsner brew for this Friday, and my previously collected yeast slurry overflowed into my fridge (through the Mason jar lid). I am worried about a potential contamination so I'd rather try a direct-pitched dry yeast...

So as a heads up, Dave at everwood can special order this yeast, with a reasonable lead time.
Having said that, moncton is certainly not well served in terms of homebrewing beer supplies ; most shops around here don't bother with beer brewing at all. Kinda tough when you have last minute needs... folks in the area are mostly concerned with wine making it seems....
And i ´ll be nice and won't comment on the quality of those homebrewed wines!!! I have only tasted a few, but i would venture to say that the focus might be on cost Savings...!
